About this Simulation

This simulation models one-dimensional motion by displaying how position evolves over time. Learners can adjust initial velocity and acceleration values, then observe real-time changes to position, velocity, and acceleration graphs. The interactive plots help students develop intuition about the relationships between kinematic variables.

Learning objectives: Interpret position-time graphs and relate their shape to motion characteristics | Understand how velocity and acceleration affect positional change over time | Analyze multiple kinematic variables simultaneously using interactive visual feedback
