About this Simulation

This simulation models heat transfer between two objects—ethanol and ice—in a perfectly insulated system. Learners can adjust object masses and initial temperatures to observe how thermal energy redistributes until equilibrium is reached. The isolated system demonstrates energy conservation in action.
