About this Simulation

This simulation models wave propagation in two dimensions using a grid of particles connected by springs. Learners can visualize how disturbances travel through the medium, observe particle oscillations perpendicular to wave direction, and explore the relationships between spring properties, particle mass, and wave characteristics in real time.
