About this Simulation

This simulation models a linear conductor moving through a magnetic field, enabling learners to explore electromagnetic induction and Faraday's law. By adjusting the conductor's velocity, length, and position, students observe how these variables affect induced voltage. The interactive visualization displays the magnetic field, conductor motion, and real-time voltage calculations.

Learning objectives: Understand how motion of a conductor in a magnetic field generates induced EMF | Investigate the relationship between conductor velocity, length, and induced voltage | Apply Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction to predict and verify experimental outcomes
