About this Simulation

This simulation models electromagnetic induction as a permanent magnet passes through a stationary solenoid. Learners observe how changing magnetic flux induces an electromotive force (EMF) and current in the coil, visualising the relationship between magnet motion, magnetic field strength, and electrical output in real-time.

Learning objectives: Understand Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction and how relative motion between magnets and coils generates electrical current | Analyse the relationship between magnet velocity, flux change, and induced voltage | Predict and explain the direction and magnitude of induced current using Lenz's law
