About this Simulation

This interactive simulation models free fall motion along the vertical (y) axis, allowing students to observe how objects accelerate under gravity. Learners can adjust initial height, initial velocity, and plot ranges to investigate the relationships between displacement, velocity, and time in one dimension.

Learning objectives: Understand how velocity changes uniformly during free fall | Interpret displacement-time and velocity-time graphs for vertical motion | Apply kinematic equations to predict motion under constant gravitational acceleration
