About this Simulation

This roller coaster simulator models the conversion between gravitational potential energy and kinetic energy as a coaster travels along a track. Students can visualise how height, velocity, and speed change throughout the journey, exploring real-world applications of energy conservation and work-energy principles in an engaging, interactive environment.

Learning objectives: Understand how potential and kinetic energy interchange as objects move through different heights | Investigate the relationship between velocity, mass, and energy states | Apply conservation of energy principles to predict motion on complex paths
