About this Simulation

This interactive simulation models the kinetic behaviour of particles in three states of matter: solid, liquid, and gas. Learners can observe how molecular motion, intermolecular forces, and energy affect particle arrangement and dynamics. By adjusting variables like wall stiffness and force parameters, students develop intuitive understanding of phase transitions and molecular structure.

Learning objectives: Understand how particle motion and intermolecular forces differ across states of matter | Visualise the relationship between energy, temperature, and particle behaviour | Explore how external conditions influence phase transitions and material properties
