About this Simulation

This simulator enables learners to compare direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) circuits side-by-side. Students can adjust voltage, resistance, and time parameters to observe how current behaves in each circuit type, directly applying Ohm's Law principles to predict and verify electrical behavior in real time.

Learning objectives: Understand the relationship between voltage, current, and resistance using Ohm's Law | Compare and contrast DC and AC circuit characteristics through interactive visualization | Predict circuit behavior by manipulating key electrical variables and observing dynamic responses
