About this Simulation

This simulation models Faraday's law of electromagnetic induction by allowing learners to manipulate a rotating coil in a magnetic field. Students can adjust rotation speed, magnetic field strength, and coil dimensions to observe how changes in magnetic flux produce induced electromotive force (EMF) and electric current.

Learning objectives: Understand the relationship between changing magnetic flux and induced EMF | Explore how rotation speed and coil geometry affect induction | Apply Faraday's law quantitatively to predict induced voltage
