About this Simulation

This simulation models the complex relationships between urban population growth and key socioeconomic and environmental indicators. Learners manipulate population variables and observe real-time changes in GDP per capita, life expectancy, infant mortality rates, and annual CO₂ emissions across different urban contexts.

Learning objectives: Understand correlations between urbanisation and economic development | Analyse the relationship between population density and health outcomes | Evaluate trade-offs between urban growth and environmental sustainability
