About this Simulation

This interactive simulation models a boat drifting across the ocean under the influence of currents and velocity. Students adjust boat speed and observe how position changes over time, exploring the mathematical relationships between speed, displacement, and slope. The simulation visualizes real-time coordinate changes and directional arrows.

Learning objectives: Understand how slope relates to rate of change and velocity | Analyze the relationship between speed vectors and position coordinates | Model real-world motion using mathematical equations and interactive visualization
