About this Simulation

This scaffolded simulation guides learners through structured mathematical thinking by modelling real-world scenarios involving location and spatial reasoning. Students explore relationships between home, postbox, and grandma's house, developing metacognitive awareness as they solve problems and articulate their reasoning aloud throughout the interactive exploration.

Learning objectives: Develop explicit mathematical thinking and reasoning skills | Build confidence in explaining problem-solving strategies | Strengthen spatial awareness and location-based mathematical understanding
