Reviewers' Comments Summary

The provided abstract discusses the incorporation of Easy JavaScript Simulation (EJSS) Data Analytics into the Singapore Learning Management System (SLS), aiming to enhance teaching and learning experiences. The authors, Loo Kang Wee, Félix Jesús Garcia Clemente, and Francisco Esquembre, introduce the concept and highlight EJSS's evolution from Java-based applets to its current JavaScript capability.

They emphasize the integration's relevance with the Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI) 1.3 standards, using Moodle as an LTI provider to serve EJSS simulations to the SLS, enabling educators to monitor student interactions and assess their performance. The simulations are generated using JavaScript_EJS_6.1, and an assessment.json file defines marks and interaction history.

A teacher dashboard visualizes student interactions, allowing teachers to identify learning difficulties and misconceptions. The example demonstrates identifying a consistent misconception about angles in a physics simulation. The abstract concludes with the authors' hope to improve data analytics EJSS usage across educational systems.

Overall, the abstract focuses on the technical integration of EJSS Data Analytics into the SLS, its potential to enhance pedagogical practices, and its application for identifying and addressing student learning challenges.

Dear ,

*** MPTL 2023 ***

The abstract submission for the 26th International Workshop on Multimedia in Physics Teaching and Learning will open on 1 March 2023!

On behalf of the MPTL Advisory Board and the Local Organising Committee, we would like to invite you to actively participate in this year's MPTL Conference at Charles University of Prague.

The MPTL workshop will be held at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University, Prague, Czech Republic, 7-9 September 2023.

The topic of the workshop is "Using multimedia to promote understanding and cognitive development".

Like last year we want to work more intensively on exchanging practical experiences with each other. Therefore, we especially welcome workshop (60, 90 or 120 minutes).

Please find all information about the MPTL conference here:

The abstract submission deadline is 3 May 2023!

*** GIREP 2023 ***

The abstract submission for the GIREP-EPEC 2023 Conference will close on 20 February 2023!

The GIREP-EPEC 2023 conference will be held 3-7 July 2023 in Košice, Slovakia.

The theme of the conference is "Physics learning promoting culture and addressing societal issues". The programme is planned from Monday morning till Thursday afternoon with excursions on Friday and will consists of plenary talks, parallel oral sessions, symposia, workshops and poster sessions.

Please find all information about the GIREP-EPEC 2023 conference here:
